Most frame tents from Celina Tent are designed to use the West Coast Style Frame system that is standard for the US tent industry. Frame tents are supported by a free-standing frame, thus eliminating all center poles or obstructions within the tent. Free-standing refers to a frame tent's ability to not require an anchor system to maintain its shape and stay standing; frame tents do require an anchoring system to secure it to the ground during inclement weather. When assembled indoors a frame tent does not need additional anchoring.
Class Overview of Pole Tents & Canopies
A Pole Tent refers to tents which are supported solely by the poles, stakes, and anchor systems to which the fabric tent top is attached. Pole Tents or tension tents are generally more cost effective for covering larger areas, due to the lack of frame components; this also makes pole tents faster to install.
