Human Resources Coordinator

Celina Tent is headquartered in Celina, Ohio with facilities in St Marys, China, Philippines and the United Kingdom. The Human Resources Coordinator is a key role within the HR department that will provide regular support to employees and the Administrative team. The HR Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the training, organizational development and recruiting efforts, and safety programs. General HR support duties, assisting with special projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for detail, the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality at all levels, and the ability to thrive in a quickly changing environment.

A typical day might include the following that you should be good at:

  • Coordinate the employees’ training and organize that the training is completed and the successfulness of the training

  • Conducts inspections, supports accident investigations, owns and facilitates safety training program, and helps define the safety culture of the organization

  • Ensures that safety-related training records, accident reports and other documents are completed and filed appropriately

  • Assists with HR projects and administration

  • Participates in screening and evaluating candidates for a variety of roles and at different levels, including phone/video interviews, utilizing assessment tools as needed

  • Ensures compliance for HR policies and practices as well as compliance to employment laws and regulations

  • Provides HR support to all salaried and hourly employees through effective communication and administration

  • Recommends, participates, and supports our Company events Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the HR department and services performed

  • All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Associate degree in a related-field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to communicate, train, and lead

  • Balances team and individual responsibilities

  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner

  • Strong eye for detail, dependable, the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality at all levels, and the ability to thrive in a quickly changing environment.

  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit and supports everyone’s efforts to succeed
